Privacy policy
Last updated: May 19, 2026.
This Policy explains how TalentScan Pro («we») processes personal data when you use talentscanpro.com and related services. The canonical domain is talentscanpro.com; talentscanpro.com.br may redirect to the same site.
1. Controller and contact
The controller is the entity operating TalentScan Pro. For privacy requests or rights exercises, use the contact method shown on the site (e.g. support email or form), with «Privacy» in the subject line.
2. Data we process
Account data: name, email address, password (stored securely), language preferences, and session history where applicable.
Usage and payment data: technical logs (IP, browser type, timestamps), transaction identifiers and payment status with payment processors; we do not store full card numbers.
Resume files: PDFs, text files, or other documents you upload for analysis; metadata needed to process the request and generate the report.
Career profile (optional): structured data you enter in your profile and, if you upload it, the associated PDF file, kept so you can reuse them for new analyses or application workflows until you delete the content or close your account as described in the Service.
3. Purposes and legal bases
Contract and service delivery: create accounts, authenticate, run analyses, deliver reports, and send service-related communications.
Legal obligations and rights: comply with law, respond to lawful authority requests, and protect platform security.
Legitimate interests: improve the product, prevent fraud and abuse, and aggregated statistics that do not directly identify you, balanced against your rights.
Consent: where required (e.g. non-essential marketing), obtained explicitly and revocable.
4. Retention
We keep data only as long as needed for the purposes above. Resume files may be deleted after processing as configured in the Service and stated at upload, unless a legal retention duty applies.
Account and billing records may be kept for statutory or accounting periods. Security logs may be retained for a limited time.
Career profile data and the associated PDF remain while your account exists and you do not delete that content; you may remove the file or profile data at any time in the authenticated area, without prejudice to legal retention periods after account closure.
5. Sharing with third parties
We use processors (hosting, payments, transactional email, AI infrastructure) under contractual confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and integrity of the Service. We do not sell user email lists to third parties for their own marketing.
6. International transfers
If data is processed outside your country or the EEA, we apply appropriate safeguards (e.g. standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions) as required by applicable law.
7. Your rights (LGPD)
Under Brazil’s General Data Protection Law (Law No. 13,709/2018 — LGPD) and other applicable rules, you may request confirmation of processing, access, correction, anonymization, blocking, deletion, portability, information on sharing, withdrawal of consent, and review of automated decisions, as applicable.
Account deletion is available in "My account", with prior notice about irreversible obfuscation of personal and sensitive data. Aggregated or legally required records may be kept for the applicable period without re-identification.
For other requests, contact us via the site (subject "Privacy"). You may file a complaint with Brazil’s National Data Protection Authority (ANPD).
8. Cookies and similar technologies
On your first visit we show a banner so you can accept or reject measurement cookies. Your choice is stored in the browser (localStorage) and is not asked again while the notice version remains the same.
Strictly necessary: theme preference (light/dark) and login session token on your device (localStorage), required for authentication and basic experience. They are not measurement cookies.
Measurement (only after acceptance): Google Analytics (site measurement ID) for usage statistics; Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights for aggregated visits and performance. If you reject, these scripts are not loaded.
You can change your choice by clearing site data in the browser (the banner will reappear) or by rejecting on first visit. Disabling essential storage in the browser may prevent login or preferences.
9. Minors
The Service is not directed at children below the legal age without parental consent. If we learn that we have collected minors’ data improperly, contact us for deletion.
10. Changes
We may update this Policy; the date at the top reflects the current version. Material changes will be communicated by reasonable means (e.g. on-site notice or email).
