These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the TalentScan Pro website and services (the «Service»), operated at talentscanpro.com. By creating an account, paying for features, or using the Service, you accept these terms in full.

1. Definitions and acceptance

«User» means anyone who accesses the site or uses the Service. «Content» includes resume files you upload (PDF or text), account data, and generated outputs (reports, scores, suggestions).

If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms, except where mandatory law provides otherwise.

2. Description of the service

TalentScan Pro provides professional profile analysis based on documents (including LinkedIn exports and other PDF or text files) and automated technologies, including artificial intelligence.

Results are informational and supportive only. They are not legal advice, a guarantee of hiring, or professional certification. Accuracy depends on the quality and truthfulness of the information you provide.

3. Account, age, and security

You may need to create an account with accurate information (name, email, password). You are responsible for safeguarding credentials and for all activity under your account.

The Service is intended for users who are of legal age to contract in their jurisdiction. We may suspend or close accounts if we detect unauthorized use.

You may delete your account from the authenticated "My account" area. On confirmation, we irreversibly obfuscate personal and sensitive data (name, email, résumés, career profile content, reports, and feedback comments). Current credentials will no longer work; a new registration is required to use the Service again.

4. Payments, credits, and refunds

Paid features (such as analyses) may require purchasing credits or one-off payments processed by third-party providers (e.g. Stripe). Applicable prices and taxes are shown before you complete payment.

Credits or entitlements are governed by the conditions shown at purchase. Refund or cancellation policies, where applicable, follow applicable law and the rules communicated at checkout or via support.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service unlawfully, not to infringe others’ rights, not to upload malware or content that violates laws or these terms.

You must not improperly reverse engineer, abusive scrape, overload our systems, or attempt to access other users’ data or areas. We may refuse or limit the Service for violations.

6. Intellectual property and your content

The site, TalentScan Pro brand, software, and branding materials are ours or our licensors’. You receive no rights beyond what is needed to use the Service.

To operate the Service, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, revocable licence to process, temporarily store, and analyse files and data you submit, strictly as described in the Privacy Policy and these terms.

If you use the career profile feature, the licence also covers storing your structured profile data and profile PDF on the Service under the applicable privacy and retention terms, until you delete them or close your account.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided «as is». We do not guarantee specific job or interview outcomes.

We are not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, or data loss except where required by law. Our total liability for claims relating to the Service in any twelve-month period will generally not exceed the amount you paid us in that period for the services giving rise to the claim, except in cases of wilful misconduct or gross negligence.

8. Suspension, termination, and governing law

We may suspend or terminate access for legal, security, or breach reasons.

Where not overridden by mandatory rules, governing law follows the jurisdiction where we primarily operate the Service, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence. Disputes shall be brought before competent courts as required by applicable law.
